Agents

The Agents page is your command center for managing the native Talos Agent applications installed on your local machines or servers.

Managing Registered Agents​

The agents list provides real-time information about every machine connected to your organization:

  • Hostname & Name: Identifies the machine where the agent is installed.
  • Status: Shows if the agent is Online, Offline, or currently Busy executing a job.
  • Version: Displays the version of the Talos Agent software currently running.

Software Updates​

Talos automatically checks if your agents are running the latest version.

  • Update Notification: If any agents are outdated, a notification bar will appear at the top of the page.
  • One-Click Update: You can click Update All to remotely trigger the update process for all outdated agents simultaneously, or skip the notification for later.

Adding New Agents​

If you need to register a new machine to your organization:

  1. Click the Download Talos Agent button.
  2. Install the application on the target machine.
  3. Start the Talos Agent application.
  4. A new tab will be automatically opened, promting you to give this agent a name and the name of the department that this agent belogs to.
  5. Finally, accept the privacy policy and finalize the registration of the agent by clicking the Finish button.

Agent Details​

Double-clicking an agent in the list allows you to view machine-specific details, such as hardware information and a history of the jobs executed on that specific agent.
